If we know that God forgives us, why do we need confession? Surely God just knows? The truth is, there is freedom in confession. A person’s thoughts determine his reality. But how do we change our thoughts to change our reality? Study. Ultimately study is taking information on the journey from our head to our heart. Prayer is personal communion and dialogue with the living God. Seen from a biblical perspective, prayer is an opportunity and a privilege rather than a burden or a duty.
