Circles are better than rows. Why? Because we believe God designed us for community.
It can be hard for some of us to commit to community, especially if we’re guarded or prefer solitude. But community is God’s desire for us, He even says we are better when we are in groups (Romans 12:4-5). Because at the end of the day, when we grow in our relationships with others, we’re growing in relationship with Him!
So if you want to forge a life-long reliance on God, intentional relationships with people who have the same goal will do nothing but help you in that journey.
714 Growth Group
We believe that the greatest place to see our values come to life is in our 714 Growth Group. This is a gathering that meets every Thursday night and provides an opportunity to make friends, make disciples, and make a difference. It is in this group that life-long, authentic, nurturing, and equipping relationships thrive.
In 714 adults and their families meet regularly to pursue spiritual growth and healthy relationships. You’ll be encouraged to live out the truths you discover in the Bible, as you encourage others to do the same.
You can join this group at any time. Please feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org to get connected.
THE FOUNDRY KIDS
At The Foundry we believe children are a blessing from the Lord. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and loving environment to help children grow in the love and knowledge of God in their own small groups. We know separating from your children in an unfamiliar environment can be difficult, but knowing what to expect can help ease some of that uncertainty.
So here is what you can expect on Sunday mornings.
Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us. We strive to provide a safe environment for your children. Every volunteer and staff member completes a background check and training to ensure your child’s safety.
Upon arrival on a Sunday morning, a volunteer at our welcome center will walk you through the process of registering your children in our ministry. They will even show you the room where your child will be learning if you want.
Each week when you are checking in you will be given a randomly assigned security code on a sticker. The code is on a sticker for the child and a sticker will be given to you, the parent or guardian, as well. This sticker will also include any medical notes, such as allergies, that your child may have so all volunteers will be aware. That tag must be presented in order to pick up your child at the end of the service.
At Foundry Kids, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really fun, and good leaders always care. As a result, we make our Sunday morning Foundry Kids children’s church a place where kids can see how God's Word fits into their lives, they learn how to talk to Him, and they build friendships that will last a lifetime.
We want every child to know and say three things in order to forge a life-long reliance on God:
I need to make the wise choice
I can trust God no matter what
I should treat others the way I want to be treated
We want every student to Forge a life-long reliance on God along side their parents. This means that we provide opportunities for middle and high school students to learn in their own small groups and opportunities for you to worship as a family.
As a result of this we want our students to be able to say the following;
I will love God because He will never stop loving me.
I will follow Jesus because He knows me better than I know myself.
I will live out God’s story so others can know who Jesus is.
The Foundry Student ministry meets once a month at the Burke Sweet Frog.
